Autism - how to behave?

Autism- telling us how to behave?

This all came about when two weeks ago I received a phone call from an organisation concerned with rape and sexual abuse, which is in my other blogs, back to this blog. I was told off for being too direct and to the point as there was a mix up about my appointment time and I got no apology for the mix up, despite the fact that the person was clearly wrong. I was subsequently told not to be direct as this might upset someone and we don’t want that do we.

Me being just recently being diagnosed with Autism thought how patronising and offensive and this got me thinking about how people keep making assumptions about us, for example I kept having to correct the individual that I truly had Autism, not Aspergers (its okay I do know what that is).

Just be careful about the assumptions we make and just think?
